Believe it or not, Dolly Parton saved my business.

It wasn’t her coat of many colors or islands in the stream … but rather, an old movie she starred in with Lilly & Jane from back in the ’80’s – called Nine to Five. 

Now, unlike the movie … I had no plans of duct-taping, anyone, to a chair to seek revenge but I did have an aha moment for the likes of NEVER RETURNING TO MY NINE TO FIVE.

Throughout each scene, I not only marveled at the big hair & huge shoulder pads but relived the moments of struggling with … hepeating, a windowless office & a less than an engaging boss.

I dug deep …. like real … deep.

I needed out & had to make my business work.

No more shapeshifting.

No more settling for approved vacation plans & a limited income.

I had enough.

I was ditchin’ 9 to 5 life FOR GOOD.

In order for things to change, I knew I had to maxout my story.

To make an emotional connection with my audience. 

This is when I heard the doves sing & my aha moment came to life … okay, doves are a little much but you get my excitement!

Years of working in Communications & PR in real estate & recruitment as well as a whole lot of encouragement … led me to fully embrace my own story & my numbers went from zero to over 6 figures in 7 months.
